The AHA 2026 Technical Workshop is a biennial, hands-on technical event for hydrographers, water monitoring professionals and industry partners.
This is not a conference. It is a practical, working environment.
Across three program days, delegates will participate in technical sessions, live vendor demonstrations and a controlled-flow gauging regatta at Salt Creek in the Coorong region.

Draft Program Overview
Monday – Arrival & Welcome
Delegates will arrive in Victor Harbor, with an optional group transfer available from Adelaide. The program will commence with an evening networking opportunity.
Day 1 – Tuesday - Technical Sessions
Venue-based program including:
- STIV and ADCP flow monitoring
- Water quality best community practice
- Data management and rating development
- Integrated vendor demonstrations
Day 2 – Wednesday - Field Regatta | Coorong
- Transit through the Coorong Barrages
- Monitoring infrastructure overview
- Controlled release at Salt Creek
- Full-day gauging regatta
Return to Victor Harbor in the evening.
Day 3 – Thursday - Data Workshop
Morning session reviewing and analysing field data.
Workshop concludes mid-afternoon. Optional return transfer to Adelaide available.
