Australian Hydrographers Association (AHA) provides training courses, diplomas and certification for Australian hydrographers.
Hydrometric monitoring is a specialist skill involving measuring ground water and surface water quantity and quality. Individuals need appropriate training in order to apply best practice and safety to these activities. This training can either be industry based (not nationally recognised) or recognised training.
Nationally Recognised Courses delivered by Irrigation Australia Limited (IAL)
AHA members are entitled to IAL member rates on all Irrigation Australia Limited courses, including the Meter Installation and Validation course and the Certificate III and IV in Irrigation.

These qualifications cover skills and knowledge to obtain a broad range of skills in hydrometric monitoring. They allow experienced staff to apply advanced practice and develop leadership roles.
