Hydrography Career Video On U-Tube!

Government Skills Australia, with the assistance of the Australian Hydrographers Association, have produced a short career video for Hydrography.

This short video (approximately 4 minutes)  is part of a bigger Career Video that is targetted for distribution to careers advisers in secondary schools and tertiary institutions.

Primarily funded through the Federal ‘Connect to Your Future’, career advice program and in part by the AHA, the video was made possible with the participation of younger hydrographers (from NSW DWE and Snowy Hydro Limited) who have recently been through traineeship programs, or have recently become hydrographers.

While only brief it provides  a glimpse of what some hydrographers do in their daily work, from field work through to the office as well as the hydrographers discussing their perceptions of the profession.

Major water agencies have received copies of the hydrography video.

If the above animation link doesn’t work enter http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC2VRWojBUk in your browser to acess the video.

If you would like a copy of the video contact the AHA Publicity Officer (Mic Clayton)  - publicist (at) aha (dot) net (dot) au
