Development of NWP07 Training Units, 2009
Members of the AHA, Government Skills Australia and other key stakeholders from state agencies and other hydrographic professionals are currently contributing their time and some resources to continue development of necessary training and education initiatives for hydrographers and those wishing to become hydrographers.
The current development project is supported by federal funding through the National Water Initiative program.
The resulting qualification will eventually supercede the existing Hydrography Certificate IV.

The most recent meeting of the National Hydrographic Advisory Committee met in January, 2009 and the next meeting is to be advised of in the next few months.
