Final Call For Technical Papers/Reserve Papers The Australian Hydrographers Association encourages the development of all aspects of Hydrometric data collection, processing, analysis and presentation as well as encouraging appropriate educational and technical standards within the profession. The 14th Australian Hydrographers' Association Conference, 2008 provides the ideal forum for professionals involved in the monitoring and management of water resources, both in Australia and in the region, to share and learn about initiatives in hydrography and field hydrology. Quality technical papers related to the conference theme are currently being invited from intending conference participants. Papers on innovative hydrographic projects and national, state or private initiatives that further the better management and understanding of water resources are encouraged. Paper abstracts have been received as at May 30th, 2008 and are currently being reviewed for final acceptance. A Reserve list of submissions has also been opened for consideration by the Conveners.
